Check that the file pointed to by soundFile exists; if it doesn't, the script falls back to the system beep. If both are silent, check your system volume/mute settings. - No notification? On first use the plugin registers the dsh-ding-notifier Start Menu shortcut (AppUserModelID registration — required for Windows to display toasts). If notifications still don't show, check Settings → System → Notifications to make sure dsh-ding-notifier is enabled. If the WinRT toast fails, the script falls back to a NotifyIcon balloon automatically. - Want a different sound?
