Why we index plugins from source

Every plugin listed here comes from a public GitHub repository. We record what the source actually says — README, install commands, license and maintenance signals — and show it to you before you install.

Stars tell you about reach. The source tells you what a plugin does, what it asks for, and whether it is still maintained. We try to make the second part easy to check.

This is also why listings are not endorsements: we index facts, not opinions.
